Today, I joined the Nigerian Bar Association and the NBA Women Forum (NBAWF), FCT Chapter, on a walk to the Police Command Headquarters, Garki, Abuja, in solemn solidarity with our colleague, Princess Mediatrix Chigbo, whose life was tragically cut short following her abduction. This heartbreaking loss is a painful reminder of the security challenges confronting our society and the urgent need to protect all citizens, particularly legal practitioners. We stand united in calling for justice, accountability, and stronger measures to ensure the safety of all. May her soul rest in peace, and may God grant her family, friends, and the legal community the strength to bear this loss.
